Consistent preventive care comes down to tracking small daily habits: noticing a gradual 1.5 kg weight change before it becomes a joint issue, never missing a 90-day deworming tablet, and making sure every pet sitter knows your dog’s triggers. The Overview Dashboard inside PetEYE MyPet brings your pet’s calendar, weight curve, and behavioral quirks into one interactive view.
Step 1: Set Up Health Guardian Reminders & Calendar Alerts
- Sign in to peteye.pet/mypet and open your pet’s Overview tab.
- Locate the Reminder & Calendar widget and tap + Add Reminder.
- Enter the task title (for example, "Simparica Tick Tablet", "Evening Thyroid Dose", or "Annual Rabies Booster"), select the date and time, and save.
- When prompted by your browser, allow Web Push Notifications (or install the PetEYE Progressive Web App to your home screen) so reminders alert you on time.
Step 2: Log Weight Check-Ins & Compare Breed Benchmarks
Sudden weight loss can be the earliest indicator of kidney or metabolic illness, while excess weight accelerates canine arthritis:
- On the Overview tab, tap the Weight card.
- Enter your pet’s current weight in kilograms (for small puppies or kittens, weigh yourself holding the pet on a bathroom scale, then subtract your own weight).
- Tap Update Weight. Your entry is plotted on the historical weight timeline and compared against ideal adult weight ranges in the Breed Hub card.
Step 3: Document Behavioral Quirks & Handling Notes
Your pet’s personality and triggers are critical safety data whenever a dog walker, boarding kennel, or Good Samaritan interacts with them:
- On the Overview tab, open the Quirks card (and Records -> Behavior & Traits).
- Add clear, concise tags describing your pet’s habits:
- Triggers & Fears: Afraid of Diwali firecrackers, reactive toward stray dogs on leash, or sensitive about paw touching during nail trims.
- Dietary & Medical Habits: Allergic to chicken protein, hides pills under the tongue, or needs slow-feeder bowls.
- Social Temperament: Friendly with children, indoor-only cat that darts toward open doors, or calm around veterinary staff.
- Save your changes so co-parents, caretakers, and emergency rescuers can read your pet’s handling guide instantly.
